Early Years have had a mini harvest of some coriander and chives they have been growing over the past few weeks.

Their strawberry plant is starting to flower.

The mint is a bit slow to grow, but we’re sure it’s going to catch up soon, insha Allah!
The grass will soon need cutting!

Al Lail kick-started the summer term with a PSHE session on Discrimination!

During this session children thought about & discussed the meaning of the word.

Photos were scattered around for them to look at and give their opinion on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Definition of discrimination: Treating a person or particular group of people differently, especially in a worse way because of their skin colour, age, religion/belief, ethnicity or disability.

The PTFC continually raise funds to benefit the school and purchase resources that will further enhance the children’s learning experience. We have so far raised funds to purchase the following items:

  • Resources for Experimental Science Clubs

On Thursday 30th March, the PTFC held a Food & Bake Sale, to raise money for school resources.

Masha Allah our parents and friends are very talented indeed!

Amin & Yasmin come with an exciting challenge!

On Monday 27th March, Aminul Hoque and Habiba Khanum from Amin & Yasmin came to present the children with an exciting challenge for the April holidays! They delivered a deaf awareness assembly to KS1 and KS2 and taught them some Islamic Sign Language. The children will be taking part in a sponsored silence to help their deaf peers learn about Islam through sign language inshaAllah.
